On behalf of the Assyrian Democratic Movement, we extend our warmest congratulations to Mr. Allen Moshikh on his election as President of the Assyrian American National Federation (AANF), and to the members of the newly elected administrative board. We regard this election as a true reflection of the vitality of our nation in the diaspora and its continued commitment to its national and patriotic role.
Our case is one, and the unity between the homeland and the diaspora stands as the solid foundation for the survival of our nation and the safeguarding of its identity. Our deep roots in our historical homeland grant legitimacy and meaning to our presence abroad, while the diaspora remains a steadfast supporter of our people in the homeland in their struggle to endure and uphold their national rights.
We also extend our special appreciation to Mr. Ashur Shamoun, the former President of the Federation, who embodied throughout his service a genuine national commitment. His most recent visit to the homeland stands as testimony to our shared destiny and common future.
As the Assyrian Democratic Movement, driven by our profound belief in the national rights of our people and in their historical unity, we look forward to seeing the new leadership of the Federation continue its noble mission. Together, we shall strive for a future in which the rights of our Chaldean Syriac Assyrian people are firmly established in their ancestral land, and their presence flourishes wherever they may be.
